Our way of doing business
Here you can read how Vingino deals with social, ecological and ethical responsibility.
We are convinced that a well-considered and responsible policy in this area is necessary for our overall strategy.
Quality is more than ensuring our products meet or even exceed our customers' expectations. It also means that our products are produced under fair conditions and that consumers are aware of our commitment to sustainability. This is a key component of Vingino's sustainability and growth mission. That's why Vingino has become a member of the BSCI and the German organization "der Grüne Punkt."
The BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) is a progressive initiative that supports retailers, importers, and companies in improving working conditions at their suppliers: factories and farms worldwide. The goal is a world of free trade and sustainable global supply chains, in which factories and farms comply with national labor laws and the conventions of international organizations that protect workers' rights. The Green Dot is the logo of a European network of industry-funded systems for recycling packaging materials and consumer goods. The basic idea behind the "Green Dot" is that consumers who see the logo know that we, as producers, contribute to the costs of processing and recycling packaging waste.
Below we explain how we intend to achieve this:
a: Our company standards.
This sets out our requirements regarding human rights.
b: Environmental standards.
To this end, one must comply with environmental, health and safety legislation.
Documentation that our partners must maintain. This requires facts and evidence for overall compliance with our requirements.
